In Sweden, the writer and artist August Strindberg was celebrated throughout 2012, the centenary year of the national poet’s death. As part of this ‘Strindberg Year’, Kulturhuset in Stockholm organised an ‘illustrated live concert’ with Knut Larsson drawing and Matti Bye and Mattias Olsson playing music. All inspired by August Strindberg’s play “The Ghost Sonata”. This unique performance took place on 17 March 2012.
